About: It's a character design sketch collection, similar to what can be found in the CD booklets. However, it has some that are not in the soundtrack booklets. It's perhaps the hardest VoH book to find.
Where I got it: I don't own it, but Jerrin found it at an Anime shop in LA.

Notes: It's pretty much what it says. A guide book going through volumes 15-23 more or less. there are 32 illustration in it, however most of these are repeat illustrations from other sources. Then there is a text interview with Watanabe as well as Text describtions of characters and events with images re-used from the manga. Unless you can get this cheap or can read Japanese I would not conisder this essential VoH material.

Other: A comic made by taking screen shots from teh movie and putitng them into book form. As far as I can tell it pretty much follows the movie. I relaly like it and I think it's worht getting. It's liek being able to take the movie anywhere you go! At the end of it, there's some whacky questiosn and other stuff that well, I can't read japanese so I'm not sure what it is.
Where I got it: My little brother bought this for me for Christmas. I see it often on yahoo.jp though, and it doe sshow up on e-bay from time to time too.

Notes: According to Jerrin, it's basically like a create your ovn adventure book and it's all text. It's not something I've ever decided to buy, because I'm not really interested in this type of thing even when i can read 'em. If you can find it cheap, it might be a fun thing to own just from a completists point of view.

Notes: This is a Violinist of Hameln novel. I have no clear idea what is going on, however there are some illustrtions, so I do know Sizer is trying to help a small child with black wings. Some illustrations in this novel are new, while others are being re-used from the manga. Overall, I think it's very cute, but it might not be worth the expense if you can't read Japanese. I lucked into these very cheaply, otehrwise I might not have gotten them. It does howeve,r feature a color pull out mini poster of Sizer.

Notes: Another novel, this seems to some kind of love story perhaps? I really like the art, and this one is nice in that there is a color insert in the book! Also, if you flip though the pages, there is a flip book, which mauses me to no end. I wish I could tell you more, the only other thing I can tell is there's a lot of flashbacks to Raiel and Hamel as kids.

Notes: The final novel (that I know of), this has some of the msot interesting art and was the reason I wanted these books. I loved that cover picture! I think this deal heavily with Hamel's demon nature and perhaps his relationship with Flute, but again, I'm mostly guessing here. It does however, seem like the plot of this one might be darker than the other two.
