These scans from Volume involve the large fight between Bass and Clari toward the end of the Human and Mazoku war. Clari and Flute seperate from Hamel, Trom, and Obo once they enter the Hameln castle. While Hamel and Trom go on the face their own trials, Clari, Flute, and a few of Clari's guards are dragged magically into the presence of Hell King Bass. After Bass disposes of all Clari's guards it pretty much becomes a one on one fight between them. Clari, however, is handicapped by his unwillingness to hurt Lute's body. A few new troops show up (old childhood friends of Lute's and Clari's) and provide relief from Clari, but ultimately, they prove stunningly powerless against Bass. Flute, here, finally learns the truth about who the boy carrying the head is and tries to intercede, which only gets her held into the air on the spear points of Bass's Hell troops. This, however, proves to be Bass's undoing. So, enjoy these scans, they are quite larger than what I normally post (I forgot to re-size them ^^). This is not all that went on in volume 34, there are some nice Raiel sizer moments, but has they wer enot important to the Clari, Bass, Lute arc, I did not scan them. I probably wl at a later date (whatch the entire vol. 34 will end up online *L*) |
