Episode 9: Outbreak! The Second Sforzend War (Boppatsu! Dainiji Sforzend Taisen)
The episode begins with Hamel standing outside with Guitar and Drum and a Mazoku ship passes over him.
Then the scene cuts to Flute, who is wondering to herself why she has come to be in this place,
then to the Sforzend army prepping for their defense.
Clary comes up to Raiel and gives him some water.
Clary is telling Raiel they may need his help. He says that Raiel must think Hamel will return and
then he gives him the mirror of truth.
Then one of the soldiers comes and tells Clary that Trom and Cornet are in trouble and they run off.
Trom is running through the woods and Cornet is following him, she kills a Mazoku that was ready to attack Trom.
Then they are in a graveyard where Trom opens a secret passage and they go underground.
They talk some about Hamel and then Cornet mentions Flute and starts to rant about how
she was hanging around a Mazoku and says she hates Princess Flute.
Then Cornet goes into the story of why that is and says that Flute took her grandfather,
her grandfather was Ressik and she's pissed because he left her and Clary to raise Flute in the village.
Meanwhile Clary is talking to Horn and asks her if she is alright with Flute and Hamel.
Then back with Cornet and Trom they emerge from the underground passage out of a
coffin then they are startled by something.
There was an explosion outside the building and Clary worries about Cornet.
Then Trom and Cornet see a horde of Mazoku at the door and in front of them is Hamel.
Clary says, "Soon, The battle will begin." Then Horn gives her speech about protecting the box,
then she cuts her finger and it activates the barrier around Sforzend.
The Mazoku invasion has begun and their troops approach Sforzend.
Guitar and Drum are on a ship then Sizer comes and upsets drum who then attacks the sail
of the ship where she -was- standing and causes all of the other mazoku ships to start firing ^^;
Sizer laughs about it.
Trom is running then has a flash back to Cornet trying to fend off the Mazoku and telling him to run.
The mazoku can't get through the barrier. Then drum decides it'll be a good idea to jump onto the
barrier. Drum lands on the shield and is living
through it then all the Sforzend soldiers look on in shock.
Drum is weakening the barrier. Trom is still running and Clary has decided to go take on Drum.
He tells Parkas to release the barrier so they can rescue Trom.
Parkas says that they won't be able to put it back up but clary comments that it won't last long anyway.
Clary stands on top of a tower and calls out Drum for a fight.
He challenges Drum to a one-on-one fight and gets ready for a fight then the barrier is released.
Clary sends a pretty strong blast at Drum and it puts a very large path
of rubble straight out of Sforzend obliterating all of the Mazoku in its path.
Parkas pops in and saves Trom right before he almost gets hit with it.
Guitar digs himself up out of some rubble then there's the sound of a Violin
playing Malher's 6th Symphony: Tragical.
There's a shot of everyone being shocked then the mazoku start to rise out of the rubble.
Flute's comments that Hamel is playing his music for the Mazoku and oboe explains it to her and she's upset about it.
Drum rises up out of the rubble and then the last scene is Flute with tears running down her cheeks.
Magical Music Played
Malher: 6th Symphony ~ Tragical
Hamel plays this after the Mazoku's first attack on Sforzend fails and causes them to get back up a fight again.

Episode 10: Between Man and Evil (< Hito > to < Ma > no Aida ni)
The Mazoku continue the attack on Sforzend and Guitar is all happy that "The successor" is playing for them.
The Sforzend army is in distress that the Mazoku is coming back and Parkas wants to attack but then you
see that the Mazoku have Cornet as a hostage.
Flute is still upset (she thinks it's all her fault) ;_; and then back with Hamel, Guitar, Cornet.
Hamel stops playing and then Cornet yells to her brother and Guitar slaps her.
Drum is down on the ground and still wants his one-on-one, then he asks Clary if he's chicken and he jumps off the wall to the ground (apparently Clary doesen't like to be called a chicken j/k :p).
The Sforzend army is getting ready to back Clary up and then Hamel basically disables them. (For it is a one-on-one after all)
Horn says that he is right and that they will not regret it even if they loose.
Flute comes up behind her and calls Hamel's name.
She is begging him to come back to her(them).
Clary gets ready to fight and then Cornet tells Hamel to watch and see a human's battle, that Clary is preparing for
this to be his last battle.
Then Clary throws a flying punch at Drum (Flute is amazed that a man can attack a mazoku with his fists)
and hits him 4 or 5 times after that.
Then he hits Drum with a large blast that leaves an imprint in the wall of the castle.
Drum gets right back up and attacks Clary.
Raiel comes up to Parkas and says that he will help him save Cornet.
He gives the mirror from Clary to Trom. Raiel also thinks that it is his fault for Hamel leaving to the mazoku side.
Hamel asks why everyone wants to die and Cornet talks about Clary's reason for fighting "To see Queen Horn smile again".
Clary is getting beat by Drum then he gets up and throws a punch back at him.
Clary remembers when Horn sent Flute away and when she tried to save his parents with her power.
He remembers when she decided to take care of Clary and Cornet as her own and that he wants to see a smile on her face.
Then he gets hit by Drum again and gets ready to attack him.
Hamel is still thinking about Cornets comment on the smile and she says that even if you are a marionette followin destiny and
Hamel says he's heard this before and then asks her if she thinks he can figure out which way is his if he risks his life
then there is an explosion behind them.
Guitar runs to see what it is then Parkas and Raiel pop in, Parkas takes off with Cornet
and Raiel surrounds Hamel with the Swan Lake. Guitar comes back and stops him from
playing then has Raiel at his sword point. Raiel begs for Hamel to help but he doesn't
help (still thinking about "Which way to go.").
Clary is laughing and Drum want's to know why, Clary says that it's because the Dragon King is so stupid and Drum gets upset and lunges at him.
Clary sends an attack at Drum, there is an explosion behind him and Drum laughs at Clary for missing,
but he meant for it to be that way. Drum has been sealed to the ground and Clary starts to cast a spell.
Clary created a giant twister that sucks all of the Mazoku into it and Drum gets buried in the ground under it.
Flute is worried that Hamel is going to get pulled in then yells for him to run. Hamel is still standing
on the hill and won't run. Raiel grabs him to keep him from getting pulled in and Hamel is yelling about
how he can use this to find out if he is human or demon. He says that the twister has the answers he wants. He begs
Raiel to get out of his way but as twister disappears he starts to calm down.
Guitar is clinging to a rock and looks on shocked.
Everything seems happy, the fanfare BGM plays, Clary looks up to the sky saying he can finally see Queen Horn's smile then-
one of Drum's dragons comes out of nowhere and grabs him. Everyone is shocked and Clary says "After all will you

Episode 11: Mirror of Truth (Shinjitsu no Kagami)
As Clary is still in the clenches of the Dragon, Drum rises up out of the ground.
Drum releases more dragons and they attack the Sforzend army also (slightly) injuring Parkas.
Drum then introduces a couple of his dragons. Then they come out and grab a hold of Clary's Arms and Legs (0_0; Ouch).
Drum then spits a fireball at Sforzend Castle and everything is shaken, Flute screams and it can be heard over the
loudspeaker.
Raiel to Hamel "Lets stop this." Then Guitar comes trotting up the hill.
He says that Hamel is their successor and wants him to kill the Raiel and fight with them.
Hamel refuses then says all he want to know is if he is human or mazoku.
Then suddenly he is distracted by the sound of Flute's crying over the loudspeaker.
She cries out and asks Why this is happening to everyone, that they just want to live normal happy lives.
Everyone stops what they are doing for a moment and listens to her.
Drum finds it amusing and taunts her saying that humans are miserable bugs that he can crush.
Flute is very upset and Queen Horn looks sad for her then she asks for someone to take her to a safe place.
Flute gets upset and says Drum is right that and that she is a bug who was abandoned by the Queen
then and runs out of the room.
Oboe comes in and says he might be able to help, Horn says that she should have done more to prevent all of this
, then suddenly the sound of Violin Music is heard.
This time it's Tchaikovsky's 5th Symphony, 2nd Movement ~ Andante cantabile.
Hamel doesen't know why he is playing this music and Guitar gets angry at this but seems like he can't attack.
Drum and Guitar says that Hamel must not be the successor and then Queen Horn addresses him from the balchony.
She gets their attention by revealing what they are after: Pandora's Box. She says to herself that she wishes
to hear Flute call her "mother".
Drum drops Clary and heads for the castle.
Clary says that Horn is going to cast a barrier spell, but that she will die if she does it at her current power level.
However if Flute helped her she would have a chance.
Then Trom pulls out the mirror that Clary gave Raiel.
Then the scene is cut to Trom running somewhere and he ends up along side Drum and his dragons, but he isn't noticed.
Then he has a flashback to Parkas locating Flute, then he drops to his knee because of his injured
leg then Trom volunteers to go after Flute. Trom says that he will fulfill his duty to protect Sforzend.
Then back in the present Drum suddenly notices Trom and he is face to face with one of the dragons.
Drum wonders where he is going and then notices Flute running away from a guard.
Drum sends his dragons after Flute and Trom reaches her just in time to fall down a hole with her.
Horn prepares her spell and Hamel suddenly realizes what the music is.
Trom pulls the mirror out of his bag and tries to show it to Flute as they are falling (^^;)
Flute wakes up in an underground sewer type setting and moves out of the way just before some rocks land where she was.
She sees someone coming down the passage and hides behind a rock.
She sees the scene from 15 years ago of Queen Horn sending her away with Ressik.
She discovers that Horn loved her all along and only sent her away because it was best for her and that
if she uses her barrier spell it will harm her. She also sees that Ressik requested for Horn to act coldly
towards Flute when she first came back to see if she qualified to be the queen.
Flute suddenly realizes that she was looking at the past through the mirror.
Up on the surface Hamel is still playing, Flute runs back up tp her mother and
Queen Horn powers up for defence against Drum.
Her magical barrier starts to spread and turns Drum's dragons and him to stone.
Then suddenly Flute is standing in front of Horn shielding her. Horn says that the spell takes a toll on her too, but
Flute says it's alright with more love and calls Queen Horn "mother".
Hamel names the music as Tchaikovsky's 5th Symphony, 2nd Movement that Pandora played for him long ago.
He says "Now I understand what mother meant by my two ways" and he walks off towards the castle.
Horn's barrier is still spreading. Guitar gets angry and lunges at Raiel stabbing him.
Raiel takes it and begs Hamel not to go, he says the light will turn him to stone.
Hamel is still walking towards the barrier "These are my two ways."
Magical Music Played
Tchaikovsky: 5th Symphony, 2nd Movement ~ Andante cantabile
This is music that causes the reccolection of past memories.
It is played by Hamel during the scene where Flute sees the scene from 15 years ago of her mother sending her away.

Episode 12: At the End of the Trip (Tabi no Owari ni)
The light that has appeared now is of the new Queens birth. Clary congratulates
Queen Horn and then remembers that there is still one more trial (for hamel).
Then they talk about a promise between Horn and Pandora.
Hamel starts to walk off and Guitar stabs Raiel.
Raiel holds his ground and Hamel turns back around and yells for Raiel.
Raiel grabs onto Guitar's sword and won't let go.
He says that no one can stop Hamel now, he is at the point of no return.
Guitar freaks out and tells him any demon will turn to stone in the light then runs away.
Raiel tells Hamel to go.
Flute is worried that he might turn to stone.
The light gets closer and
Hamel turns to face it. Flute begs Horn to stop the light and she says she cannot.
Hamel walks into the light and it goes over Raiel.
Flute cries out for Hamel and then goes to her mother.
Horn tells her that its all right if her heart communicates with him
and Flute goes to the end of the balchony and says "Come to me Hamel"
She is reaching up towards the light and Hamel comes kind of floating down to her through
the light from above. (I absolutely love this scene!)
Flute says "Youve returned, Hamel" and he says "Flute". The barrier dissapears.
Raiel says "Did you find your way Hamel".
Then Cornet sees Hamel on the balchony and none of them can believe he made it there.
It's silent for a moment. Then Hamel says "I didn't turn to stone" and Flute repeats it back.
The mood becomes happy and Hamel says "I, I am Human" and the he screams it "Human!"
Raiel says "Congratulations, Hamel."
But, the happiness does not last for long, back in Hameln Bass is laughing because he
knows that Drum isn't done yet. Then
his creepy voice is heard, he starts calling out to Hamel. Then he breaks free of the
stone and starts to attack again.
Guitar seems scared. Horn tells Hamel his trial is not over and that he has to
come to a conclusion himself.
Hamel starts to play Beethoven's
7th Symphony, 2nd Movement and
Drum starts to attack using fireballs, but the Sforzend army fires back at him.
Clary, Cornet and Trom attack Drum as well.
Then Horn asks about the music and Oboe explains it to her.
You see Sizer for a second watching the whole thing from a distance away.
Guitar says everything is the same as 15 years ago and
Bass says (Everything is . . .) and then Lute says the same thing on his own.
Horn says that it is like going back 15 years ago, but her other child
is not there and then Lute cries.
Bass cant believe it and a wave of powerful magic spreads throughout Sforzend healing everyone (including Raiel)
Horn seems shocked, she thinks "Lute, it's you, isnt it?"
Then Hamel thinks out his problems and remembers scenes from the past.
He remembers that effects that
people around him have had on his life. And the things that have happened so far.
He says that he finally figured it all out, his two ways and what is meant by it.
After that scene Hamel hands his Violin to Flute and asks her to hold on to it.
Then he takes off, (he says that if you do what you believe is right that is all that matters),
to take on Drum.
Then he strikes at Drum and
a column of light appears.
Drum dissapears and there stands Hamel turned into the Demon.
Everyone is very shocked and Hamel is crying.
Magical Music Played
Beethoven: 7th Symphony, 2nd Movement ~ Allegretto
Hamel plays this during the scene Drum's attack on Sforzend and his scene of coming to terms with himself.
It causes the Sforzend army and everyone else to have the strangth to fight Drum.
